Founder

Bog Bespoke was founded by New England native Collin Perry. Growing up in north central Massachusetts, Collin developed an appreciation for both design and the natural world at a young age. Encouraged to follow his creative passions, he attended the University of New Hampshire where he received a BFA with a focus in woodworking and furniture design. After school Collin honed his craftsmanship and design skills further by working for one of New York City’s most renowned custom furniture studios. Leaving New York after 5 years was a tough choice. Although he loved the energy of the city, Collin has always indetified more with an outdoor lifestyle. He has since moved to Portsmouth, New Hampshire where he founded Bog Bespoke.

Materials and Sustainability

Any piece in our collection can be made from a variety of hardwoods, as well as a virtually endless combination of finishes. The main domestic species’ we use are White Oak, Hard Maple, Black Walnut and Cherry. With the environment and sustainability being paramount to us, the only exotic species’ we use are plantation grown Teak and Sapele. Using FSC certified plantation suppliers of these woods ensures that we are not getting involved in any destructive and/or illegal deforestation practices.
